Terri Kevany

Terri Kevany has over 20 years of experience in the communications and marketing field, combining innovative ideas with proven capabilities in developing and executing strategies. Her areas of expertise include marketing, advertising, communications/public relations, and event planning and promotion. She has extensive knowledge of Northeast Ohio’s assets, challenges and political and business leadership.

Kevany's prior experience includes more than six years as the senior marketing executive for the Greater Cleveland Partnership/Council of Smaller Enterprises (formerly the Greater Cleveland Growth Association) where she planned and implemented all facets of communications activities to support the corporate objectives and needs of the 16,000-member organization. Her responsibilities included developing comprehensive, integrated and strategic communications plans for the overall organization and its divisions, services and programs. She advised the CEO and executive director on communications issues and opportunities to ensure the appropriate, coordinated and most beneficial positioning of Partnership messages. She led all activities related to media—from building and maintaining relationships to planning and executing specific media campaigns. Kevany was also responsible for the development of brand identity/ communications standards for the organization.

Throughout her years at the Partnership, Kevany worked on key projects to benefit Northeast Ohio, including the Brook Park campaign to allow for future expansion of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport; the effort to create Team NEO, a cutting-edge, regional economic development organization; and the effort to rally support for NASA Glenn Research Center. She also played a critical role in communicating to members, the public and other leaders the restructuring of Greater Cleveland’s primary business organizations.

Kevany also served for many years as manager of Communications and Marketing for Fairview and Lutheran Hospitals where she developed and implemented strategies for corporate and product line communications for health system centers of excellence.

Kevany is an editor and advisor to the American Council of the Blind of Ohio. She is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College.
